Hundreds of people are expected to walk through the doors of the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Wednesday, as the South Okanagan's largest job fair of the year returns.
The Start Here Penticton Job Fair runs March 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Now in its third year, the event is organized by the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Penticton and WorkBC Centre South Okanagan.
Dozens of employers have registered for the fair, which is free to attend for job-seekers.
Free sessions on trending topics, courtesy of WorkBC, will also run to help people find new career opportunities.
"At this job fair, not only can you meet employers face-to-face, but you can gain some new skills and hear about employment trends that may just give you that competitive advantage," said Carly Berger, community engagement manager at the local WorkBC centre.
