Saddle up horse enthusiasts, Armstrong is the place to be Saturday, March 29.
The Horsey Ladies (Okanagan) are once again hosting the annual Tack Sale in the Armstrong Curling Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., inviting all horse enthusiasts to come shop and socialize at this popular event.
From minis to drafts, there will be new and used tack for sale, horse riding and driving gear, show and barn clothing, books and new this year DK Saddlery (now with an outlet in Lake Country) will host a saddle fitting demo at 12 p.m.
The event is free, but money from the rental tables will go towards the Horsey Ladies annual banquet in November, which is a larger fundraiser giving back to B.C. charities.
"To date the Horsey Ladies have given out over $153,000," said Nancy Roman of the group's support that has benefited dozens of groups including Equine Assisted Therapy in Vernon and 麻豆精选, Spallumcheen's Caravan Farm Theatre, Shuswap's Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge, Lavington's Forever Home Sanctuary and even Pipsqueak Paddocks in the Fraser Valley.
