The contentious location of the 麻豆精选 Farmer鈥檚 and Crafter鈥檚 Market has been a hot topic for years.
However, a next step has now been taken, with a real estate listing on Unison HM Commercial Realty, priced for $12.95 million.
The 1.97-acre corner lot at Springfield Road and Dilworth Drive is currently zoned C2, Commercial, but has the potential in the future to be zoned for rental apartments or a high-rise condo.
Orchard Park Mall, kitty corner to the farmer鈥檚 market site, is the current owner.
A move to the downtown core on Clement Avenue was rejected by the market鈥檚 members in 2014, resulting in the resignation of society president Wolfe Wesle.

It is unknown at this time where another potential location for the market would be.
