Enjoy a swim or skate alongside some well-known holiday friends at two upcoming events.
There鈥檒l be games and activities for all ages at the annual Swim with Santa at Parkinson Recreation Centre on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. Kids can have an underwater photo taken with Santa and enjoy plenty of holiday fun. Photos are complimentary for pass holders or with the purchase of a daily pool pass and will be emailed to parents.
The city鈥檚 annual Family Holiday Skate will take place on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Rutland Arena from 3 to 5:15 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of free skating, face painting for the kids, plus hot chocolate and other refreshments courtesy of Tim Hortons.
Skate rentals are available, don鈥檛 forget to bring helmets. Donations for the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank are greatly appreciated.
