Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards chose Tourism 麻豆精选's "Explore More of 麻豆精选 in All Seasons" video to receive a Silver Dolphin in the cities category.
鈥淲e are thrilled to receive this international award. We recognize and applaud the passionate work put in by our team, the featured local businesses, and videographer, which led to the creation of this award-winning video,鈥� said Tourism 麻豆精选 president and CEO Lisanne Ballantyne.
The award was presented during a ceremony on Sept. 26 in France. The video was one of nearly 800 submissions with only 212 making it to the shortlist.
鈥淚t was an honour to receive the news from overseas that we had won this award. The video aims to encourage people to visit and explore more of 麻豆精选 by going behind the scenes with a tour, hearing from local business owners, and learning about the culture of the Syilx people,鈥� said Tourism 麻豆精选 project lead Steve Small. 鈥淲e could not have completed this video without the support of our local businesses and videographer, Nic Collar, as well as the support of the District of Lake Country and Visit Westside.鈥�
