Parkinson Recreation Centre in 麻豆精选 was packed on the evening of Feb. 9, for the Spring Lantern Festival. 

Hosted by OCCA Communities Association, over 900 people gathered to welcome in the Year of the Snake. 

Executive director Fei Liu said, "In Chinese zodiac, snake means wisdom, resilience and transformation."

The event ran from 4-8 p.m. with vendors, activities, food, and a variety of performances.
