VIDEO: Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society hosts festival for Indigenous Peoples Day

The festival shut down the 400-block of Leon Avenue

The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society hosted it鈥檚 annual Turtle Island Festival today in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

The community was treated to dancing, singing, drumming, crafts, food, and fun in the 400-block of Leon Avenue.

The festival is on until 7 p.m. with a traditional powwow at 4 p.m.
