One person remains in custody after the 麻豆精选 RCMP's Proactive Enforcement Unit (PEU) executed a search warrant at home in the 600-block of Clifton Road on Wednesday, March 5.
Around 10:30 a.m., officers shut down Clifton Road from MacLeay Court to Cara Glen Way. According to the RCMP, previous criminal activity has been observed in the home.
Officers, with the assistance of the Southeast District Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services, entered the home and located a 36-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants related to violent offences in 麻豆精选. He was taken into custody.
The search also resulted in the seizure of three firearms.
The RCMP's investigation is ongoing.
