Interior Health (IH) has declared three different respiratory illness outbreaks in three different Okanagan cities over the last few days.
On Thursday, April 17, there was a HMPV outbreak declared in the Hollywood Unit of Sun Pointe Village (Long-Term Care) in 麻豆精选 and an Influenza A outbreak in the SP3 Unit of Penticton Regional Hospital.
Additionally, there was a Rhinovirus/Enterovirus outbreak announced in Heron Grove's (Long-Term Care) Cottage 6 in Vernon on Tuesday, April 15.
Any listed outbreaks happen when a new outbreak occurs and are listed for:
- Clostridium difficile Infection
- Gastrointestinal Illness
- Respiratory Infection
When an outbreak is over, the facility is removed from the list.
