BC Transit said it takes acts of inappropriate and illegal behaviour very seriously and is supporting the RCMP investigation of an assault on a transit operator in 麻豆精选.
RCMP were called to the Queensway bus loop the morning of Feb. 11 after an incident on a city bus left a driver with minor injuries.
BC Transit said safety is a top priority and they work hard to ensure the safety of everyone on board the bus.
Safety measures include closed-circuit television cameras on buses, operator emergency notification protocols, enhanced radio communications, and partnerships with first responders for quick responses to transit incidents.
The driver was taken to hospital out of an abundance of caution.
A suspect was arrested by police and the incident is still under investigation.
