Residents around Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ woke up to a light dusting of fresh snow and chilly weather on Monday, Feb. 3.

Environment Canada forecasts light flurries, clouds and sub-zero temperatures to persist in the Okanagan Valley early in the week with sunny skies and colder weather to begin on Wednesday Feb. 5. 

Drive B.C. reports slippery roads and limited visibility due to blowing snow along Highway 33 from Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ to McCulloch Road.

There are also reports of blowing snow and slippery road sections along Highway 97 between Peachland and Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ and along Westside Road.

Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution.
