CCTV sought after stolen truck used to break into 麻豆精选 store

The suspects fled in a second vehicle observed to be a white pickup truck

麻豆精选 RCMP are investigating a break-in at Players Choice Sports in the early hours of Jan. 20, 2025.

麻豆精选 RCMP are investigating a break and enter at a sports memorabilia store on Banks Road. 

At 4:19 a.m. on Jan. 20, officers were called to the 300-block of Banks Road. Upon arrival is was determined a vehicle had been used to crash through the storefront. 

The vehicle, a white 2004 Ford F550 flat deck, had been stolen less than 10 minutes prior from a business in the 3500-block of Edwards Road. 

Police determined at least two suspects then fled the scene of the break-in in a second white truck, leaving the stolen vehicle behind. 

鈥淲e are asking any businesses in the area with CCTV to have a look and see if they captured this incident, along with any helpful video just prior and after the break-in,鈥 said Cpl. Michael Gauthier 麻豆精选 RCMP Media Relations Officer. 鈥淥fficers are still collecting evidence and this investigation remains ongoing.鈥

The suspects took off with a large amount of stolen sports memorabilia. 

Players Choice Sports posted to Facebook showing the damage to the store front and announcing the business would be closed on Jan. 20. 

Anyone with information that could aid police in the investigation is asked to call 麻豆精选 RCMP with file number 2025-3377 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
