The City of 麻豆精选 wants input from residents on Manhattan Point Park.
Recommendations to identify uses, priorities and aesthetic options for the site are being sought.
鈥淢anhattan Point Park is an important location for the neighbourhood and for the city as a whole.,鈥� said Melanie Steppuhn, park and landscape planner.
The park was closed in 2017 due to flood damage. Improvements include safe public access to the waterfront, improving shoreline stabilization, and environmental benefits.
A concept design is expected to be completed later this year.
Residents can provide comment through a digital survey until Sunday, August 4. There is also a 鈥榳alkshop鈥� to connect with the project team at the park on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
鈥淲e want residents to share how they envision using the space and what they鈥檇 like prioritized within the design,鈥� Steppuhn added. 鈥淭hrough engagement, the community has a unique opportunity to influence the concept design and the future of this site.鈥�
