The awards recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions by volunteers, artists, athletes, environmentalists, and businesses.

The Young Citizen of the Year Award includes a scholarship from the Payton and Dillon Budd Memorial Fund Youth Scholarship, and the recipient of the Teen Honour in the Arts Award receives an entrance scholarship to UBC Okanagan.
The 49th Annual Civic and Community Awards Gala will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at the Laurel Packinghouse.
Award recipients will also be recognized at Jim Stuart Park, with their names on an individual name plate.
