Two 麻豆精选 vehicle dealerships were recognized at the Vancouver International Auto Show on Mar. 21.
麻豆精选 Chevrolet and Valley Mitsubishi were given the Green Star Dealer Award for their efforts in the sale of clean energy vehicles in 2023.
It recognizes new car dealers selling the highest number of clean energy-eligible vehicles annually across all brands, by provincial region.
麻豆精选 Chevrolet was awarded for top Battery Electric Vehicle sales in the Interior, and Valley Mitsubishi was recognized for top Plug-in Electric Hybrid sales in the Interior.
鈥淏ritish Columbians are embracing zero-emission vehicles at record levels, and the province is supporting this transition by providing rebates for people, making ZEVs more affordable, and by connecting communities through expanding our fast-charging network,鈥� said Josie Osborne, Provincial Minister of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Resources.
Sales figures for 2023 show zero-emission vehicles represented nearly 23 per cent of new light-duty passenger vehicles sold last year in B.C., the highest percentage for any province or territory.
