Peachland鈥檚 Heritage Park is getting some needed attention.
Crews will repair part of the paved plaza near the gazebo and freshen up the southern section of the Centennial Walkway.
While the work is underway, some areas of the park near 1st Street and Beach Avenue will be temporarily closed. However, pedestrians will still have access to other areas, including the Ray Kandola Heritage Pier.
Visitors are asked to be mindful of fenced-off work areas and use caution while crews complete the upgrades.
According to the District of Peachland website, Heritage Park is on the site of what was once Walter鈥檚 Ltd Packinghouse and before that, a fruit and vegetable cannery.
