The 麻豆精选 Chamber of Commerce鈥檚 39th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a driving success, raising over $2,500 for deserving causes.
Despite a few sprinkles, the event brought together 152 players at Harvest Golf Club on May 22 for friendly competition and networking.
鈥淓ven though there were some raindrops around, we had a great day, a terrific opportunity for Chamber members to try out their swings and make business connections,鈥� said Maryse Harvey, Chamber president and chair.
Title sponsor Parke Pacific Projects designated their fundraising efforts to support Parkinson鈥檚 Disease Research through the Parkinson Society of BC.
The Rise Memorial hosted by the 麻豆精选 Kinsmen (funded by the 50/50 draw) and the UBC Okanagan (UBCO) Heat Golf Program were also beneficiaries of the tournament鈥檚 success.

recreation at UBCO. 鈥� Their generous support of the UBCO Heat golf program helps us continue to be among the top programs in Canada. 鈥�
With the 39th tournament on the card, the Chamber looks forward to the 40th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in spring 2025.
