麻豆精选 city bus carrying passengers collides with ambulance

Witnesses said they heard a heavy impact from the crash

A 麻豆精选 city bus collided with an ambulance on Bernard Ave on April 4.

A BC Ambulance travelling east on Bernard Avenue with its lights and sirens on was hit but a BC Transit bus carrying passengers. 

The incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. and according to witnesses emergency vehicles had been previously on scene at an incident at St. Paul Street and Bernard. 
 

According to one person who witnessed the collision, "tTjw bus was going pretty fast."

Witnesses say they could hear the impact. 
Passengers on the bus were able to vacate without incident, however, it's unknown if there were any injuries. 
 

The BC Transit bus was reported to be the #10 Rutland.

Emergency vehicles were still on scene of the crash two and a half hours later.
