麻豆精选 Yacht Club speakers series to focus on invasive mussels

The 麻豆精选 Yacht Club (KYC) has confirmed another installment in its Eco Speaker Series for 2024.

The series delves into topics such as energy efficiency, invasive species, green boating, water conservation, and others.

The next session, on Mar. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at KYC, is 鈥楰eeping Invasive Mussels out of the Okanagan.鈥�

It will be presented by Lisa Scott of the Okanagan and Similkameen Invasive Species Society and Jesse Zeman with the BC Wildlife Federation.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the threats posed by invasive species, and effective prevention strategies.

This event is open to KYC members and the community. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
