麻豆精选's Gospel Mission (KGM) has announced that Trevor Freeman will be taking over the role of executive director.
鈥淲e are thrilled to welcome Trevor to the 麻豆精选鈥檚 Gospel Mission,鈥� said Wendy Thiessen, chair of KGM's Board of Directors. 鈥淗is passion for community and leadership experience make him an ideal choice to guide the Mission into its next chapter. We are confident that Trevor is the right leader for this next era of the Mission and that he will continue to deepen our impact as we feed, shelter and care for people experiencing homelessness in our city.鈥�
Freeman has worked in the non-profit sector for more than a decade in positions such as church leader and a food bank director.
鈥溌槎咕♀�檚 Gospel Mission has a long history of walking alongside those in need with dignity and compassion," Freeman said. "I look forward to building on this strong foundation and working alongside the dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible.鈥�
Freeman is taking over from Carmen Rempel who started has been the executive director since 2020. Rempel will remain with KGM until May 15.
