The Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (COEDC) has unveiled its 2025 Advisory Committee.
It includes industry leaders, elected officials, local government staff, and community organizations. The 45 member committee meets monthly to share ideas and work toward sustainable economic growth in the region, according to a media release from the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO).
Sharon Hughes-Geekie has been named chair. She will be supported by an executive committee that includes Janice Larson as past chair, Paula Quinn as vice chair, and members Angela Nagy and Ryan Malcolm.
The COEDC also welcomes several new members to the committee:
- Alexandra Carnio, co-founder & CEO of ProducKIDvity
- Alan Gatzke, owner of Gatzke Orchards
- Garrett Jones, vice president of Delphi Canada
- David Metvedt, CEO of Swift Aerial Surveys
- Joanna Schlosser, co-founder & CEO of Niche Wine Company
- Roger Wong, owner of Intrigue Wines

The COEDC is a service of the RDCO supporting businesses, attracting investment, and providing resources.
