Person allegedly missing from crash in Lake Country: COSAR

A person is reportedly missing from a crash in the Beaver Lake area of Lake Country on Thursday, April 17, according to Central Okanagan Search and Rescue.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) has turned a file over to the RCMP after a crash in Lake Country on Thursday night (April 17).

As BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) attended the scene, they requested COSAR's help to find and assess "a possible medical emergency." According to COSAR, the driver of the vehicle was reportedly ejected from the vehicle.

"Despite a thorough search, the subject could not be located," said COSAR on social media.

Black Press Media has reached out to both the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ and Lake Country RCMP for more information.

RCMP officers from both Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ and Vernon attended the scene along with the Lake Country Fire Department and Vernon Search and Rescue.
