Construction crews are back at work on the Shannon Lake Active Transportation Corridor in West 麻豆精选.
Phase 2 of the project will add sidewalks, bike lanes, and streetlights to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. It covers a 400-meter stretch between Shannon Lake Golf Course and Golf Course Drive.
The city says significant impacts for drivers aren鈥檛 likely until paving begins. The city will provide advance notice of any delays. The construction timeline depends on weather and contractor schedules. Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones and give crews extra space.
Pedestrians will still have access, but cyclists should either follow posted detours or walk their bikes through the construction zone. Emergency vehicles and transit services will have access during construction.
