To enhance the volunteer group's capabilities, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue has welcomed a physician and experienced flight nurse to the team.
Along with the new addition, the group will have weekly medical training for all members.
The position has been made possible by a commitment from Callahan Property Group with a donation of $75,000 over three years.
