麻豆精选 RCMP have confirmed the missing paddler on Okanagan Lake made it safely to shore.
The woman was canoeing on Okanagan Lake near Peachland on June 11 when winds picked up.
A concerned witness on shore called in emergency crews around 6 p.m. when the caller lost sight of the paddler wearing a pink hat.
The woman contacted West 麻豆精选 RCMP on June 12 to confirm she was the one wearing a pink hat and was in a canoe in the area of the call.
The woman told police she is trained to paddle in extreme weather and made a safe return to shore.
Update June 12 at 10:20 a.m.
RCMP air services deployed this morning to continue searching for a possible missing paddleboarder on Okanagan Lake.
The call came in to West 麻豆精选 RCMP around 6 p.m. to assist after a witness called from the shore in Peachland saying they had lost sight of someone on the water as the winds grew stronger.
Central Okanagan Search and Rescue patrolled the area through the evening without locating anyone in distress.
There are no reports of anyone missing at this time.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue is assisting emergency crews in looking for a missing person on Okanagan Lake.
A witness reported watching someone on a paddle board disappear into the water as the wind grew stronger and the water less calm in the area of Seclusion Bay in West 麻豆精选, Tuesday evening.
According to COSAR President Brad Trites, the volunteer search team has a boat on the water, as of 9:45 p.m.
