Fire crews who were driving along Highway 97 had to jump into action after a driver's white truck caught on fire on Leathead Road, Monday afternoon.
Firefighters helped to push the vehicle off Leathead and into the Petro Canada parking lot. Smoke could be seen coming from under the hood of the truck.
The driver did not appear to be injured and both he and his passenger were able to safely escape.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the small blaze inside the vehicle as the driver waited for tow truck.
