While full results are still being counted, the election race in the federal riding of Okanagan Lake West-South 麻豆精选 is much too close to call.

Six candidates were on the ballot in the riding for the April 28 federal election.

With 14 of 220 polls counted at 8:15 p.m., Conservative incumbent Dan Albas had 45.5 per cent of voter support.

Liberal candidate Juliette Sicotte had 44.8 per cent of voter support.

New Democratic Party candidate Harpreet Badohal was at 6.5 per cent, Green Party candidate Louise Lecouffe had 1.9 per cent support, People鈥檚 Party of Canada candidate Debbie Robinson had 0.9 per cent support and Gary Suddard of the Canadian Future Party had  0.4 per cent support.

The region has been a Conservative stronghold.

If the result changes and Sicotte wins the riding, it will be the first time the Liberals have represented the region since 1968.
