Warmer weather means the outdoor skating rink in Stuart Park will close on Friday (Feb. 28) at 11 a.m.
The ice is becoming more difficult to maintain, according to the City of 麻豆精选.
鈥淲e had hoped to keep the rink operable throughout the 2025 Montana鈥檚 Brier but the warming weather doesn鈥檛 look like that will be possible,鈥� says Steve Hebden, recreation facility operations supervisor. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been an excellent season of skating down at the rink, but we are at the point where we need to close the ice surface.鈥�
Skaters looking to take a final lap on Friday should check the live cam on the city鈥檚 website before heading to the rink.
