Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) chair Anna Warwick Sears will be the candidate for the BC NDP in 麻豆精选-Lake Country-Coldstream in October鈥檚 election.
She is to be nominated tonight during a gathering at the Lake Country Art Gallery. Sears announced her intention to seek represent the party in June.
"It is both exciting and scary," she told Black Press Media during an interview in June. "It is a lot to take on initially. I am not new to politics but there are a lot of rules and processes and other things I have no background in that you have to understand and learn.鈥�
Sears will take a leave of absence from her OBWB position to head out on the campaign trail.
