The inaugural regular council meeting in West 麻豆精选鈥檚 new city hall is scheduled for May 28 at 6 p.m.
Mayor Gord Milsom said council is pleased to provide the new facility as a place of governance and administration for the community.
鈥淚t鈥檚 been 17 years since we鈥檝e been in temporary facilities, and it feels great to be in our first purpose-built city hall and host an inaugural Council Meeting in proper council chambers.鈥�
The city will continue live-streaming council meetings and provide webcast archives on its website.
Residents can view the May 28 council meeting agenda on the city鈥檚 website, as well as watch the live webcast.
The city is the first of six organizations to start services in the building.
The Okanagan Regional Library will begin services on June 5, while start dates for MLA, MP, ICBC, and ServiceBC services are yet to be announced.
