Valhalla Helicopters is offering a shuttle service for people who must get to 麻豆精选 while the William R. Bennett Bridge remains closed due to a police incident.
"If it's an absolute dire need to get to 麻豆精选 or West 麻豆精选, that's an option we wanted to put out to the public," said Claire Savege, marketing manager with Valhalla Helicopters.
The cost is $680, however, a helicopter can accommodate up to four passengers, which breaks down to $170 per person. The shuttle is flying between the company's location at 100 Stevens Road in West 麻豆精选 to the 麻豆精选 International Airport. If someone needs to fly to another destination, Savege said can be arranged.
"We can adjust the financing for that, it would be more like a charter flight, but we do have that option."
Savege added that helicopters are ready to go when customers need to. "It's call to go. We have pilots on standby. We'll try and put people in together to make it more affordable."
