Westside Road to be single-lane alternating for at least another week: DriveBC

Westside Road will remain single-lane alternating traffic until at least April 17, 2025.

Westside Road is at least another week away from fully reopening.

In DriveBC's update on Friday afternoon (April 11) at 2:15 p.m., the provincial organization announced Westside Road will remain single-lane alternating traffic from Main Street to Denison Road until at least Thursday (April 17) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic control will be on scene.

Black Press Media has reached out to B.C.'s Ministry of Transportation and Transit to confirm the status of the road for the other 12 hours of the day.

DriveBC is set to next update the situation at 8 a.m. on April 17.

The stretch was Westside Road was swiped away by a landslide that took place at 9:45 p.m. last Tuesday (April 1).
