The West 麻豆精选 Warriors were handed their fifth loss in a row Saturday (Oct.19) night as they were beaten 3-1 by the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at Royal LePage Place.
Caleb Mahar (3) put the Silverbacks up 1-0 at 3:51 of the first period. Cole Cooksey made it 2-1 at 18:51 with a powerplay goal. Salmon Arm鈥檚 Riley Ashe (2) put his team up 3-0 halfway through the second period.
The Warriors finally got on the scoreboard at 13:09 of the second on a goal by Dylan Krayer (4), with assists to Jack Farrell and Jack Pridham.
West 麻豆精选 outshot the Silverbacks 27/25 and Warriors goaltender Dawson Labre made 22 saves. West 麻豆精选 was 0/2 on the powerplay.
