RCMP have confirmed the allegations made in a Facebook post are true.

An anonymous post was made to The Lakes Community Facebook group, a neighbourhood in Lake Country, stating a child threatened another child with a knife.

The post alleges that a group of children had gone to Shoreline Park to purchase lemonade from another group of kids with a stand set up. A child in the park allegedly pulled a pocket knife on one of the children from the group purchasing lemonade.

RCMP said they have spoken with the parents of the children involved. Charges are not being pursued due to the age of the youth.
