Community members filled the Mary Irwin Theatre on Wednesday night to recognize the 2017 Community Sport Hero Awards Recipients.
At this year鈥檚 reception, the City of 麻豆精选, PacificSport, and Tourism 麻豆精选 were pleased to recognize several local volunteers and athletes for their outstanding contributions to sport within our community.

Along with the recognition of these local sport heroes, the 2017 Community Sport Hero Awards Reception also took time to acknowledge and congratulate Okanagan athletes that competed at the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio.
The night was headlined by keynote speaker Brittney Page and was capped off by a 鈥渟end-off鈥� for 麻豆精选 athletes heading to the upcoming International Children鈥檚 Games.
