Highway 3 in Keremeos reopens about being closed due to structure fire

The highway was closed around 9:10 p.m.

A structure fire on Highway 3 in Keremeos on Friday night (Feb. 28) closed down the road for nearly 10 hours.

The blaze took place in a building and closed the highway in both directions between Keremeos Bypass Road and Boundary Road.

According to Facebook posts, the fire was at Lasser's Fruitstand and its believed to be destroyed. It's unknown at this time what caused the blaze.
