West 麻豆精选 Mounties who arrested a man for an alleged indecent act, are encouraging other witnesses to come forward to police.

On Feb. 25 at 7:20 p.m., West 麻豆精选 RCMP responded to a report of a man who had allegedly inappropriately exposed himself to others in the family change room of the Johnson Bentley Aquatic Centre in West 麻豆精选.

Police responded to the facility and located the suspect who was still inside a change stall.

According to police, the 34-year-old 麻豆精选 man, who refused to identify himself to police at the scene, was taken into custody without incident.

鈥淩CMP are taking this reported incident very seriously,鈥 states Staff Sgt. Lesli Roseberry, commander of the West 麻豆精选 RCMP Detachment.

鈥淲e鈥檙e pleased that staff of the facility were quick to call the police, which allowed our officers to make an arrest before others could be further victimized.鈥

The man was later positively identified by investigators who obtained his fingerprints for analysis.

He faces potential charges and was held in police custody over the weekend.

鈥淲e suspect that there may be other members of the public who were at the pool, who may have witnessed this man鈥檚 behaviour prior to or after the alleged incident, or may have been victimized themselves,鈥 adds Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey.

鈥淲e鈥檇 like to encourage those witnesses to come forward to speak to our investigators.鈥
