A rock slide east of Salmon Arm has closed Highway 1 to all traffic.
The slide occurred Wednesday night between Canoe Beach Dr. NE and Bernie Rd.
DriveBC says an assessment is underway. In the meantime, drivers are being rerouted along Highway 97B, 97A and 97.
"Please plan an alternate route and use caution in the area," says DriveBC, which is expected to provide its next update at 3:30 p.m. today.
