The Salmon Arm RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing man who was last seen over a month ago.
Derrick Ryde was reported missing on March 25, but hasn't been seen since Feb. 25. He was reportedly living on a family member's property in the Grandview Bench area.
"Police are very concerned for Derrick Ryde's health and well-being," Const. Andrew Hodges said in a March 29 media release. "And family and friends report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long."
Ryde, 34, is described as a 6-foot-5 Caucasian man weighing 191 pounds with blonde hair and blue eye. At the time he was last seen, Ryde was wearing a brown jacket, black jacket or blue hoodie.
Anyone with information on Ryde's whereabouts is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
