UPDATE: Truck dumped on embankment near Big White

Update: 2:47 p.m.

RCMP are investigating a report of an abandoned, damaged five-ton flat deck truck, hanging partially over an embankment along the 201 Forest Service Road near Big White.

Police believe that the truck was stolen during a break and enter committed at a business on May 15 in Â鶹¾«Ñ¡.

The stolen commercial vehicle has since been recovered by a local towing company. The police investigation remains ongoing.

A large truck is dangling off a steep bank on a forest service road near Big White.

According to witnesses the truck has been parked on the embankment since last week. The white truck which appears to be a business vehicle for Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Express is badly damaged and has several smashed windows.

There are reports the vehicle was stolen from Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ and RCMP are aware of the situation.

It’s unclear when the truck will be towed from the area.
