From awarding outstanding businesses to fighting for their needs, the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has the backs of local business.

But now it's time to celebrate them as part of Chamber of Commerce Week, Feb. 10-14.

This annual celebration highlights the vital role Chambers play in driving economic growth, advocating for local businesses, and supporting connections that strengthen our community.

鈥淎s a Chamber, we are committed to championing the success of businesses and non-profit organizations in Greater Vernon,鈥 said Kirndeep Nahal, president of the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. 鈥淭his week is an opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts of Chambers across B.C., who advocate for business-friendly policies, provide networking and development opportunities and help drive economic prosperity.鈥

To mark Chamber of Commerce Week, the Greater Vernon Chamber is launching two key initiatives to support local businesses:

Tariff Business Resources Page: An online hub designed to help businesses navigate tariffs, trade regulations, and their impact on operations. This resource provides valuable insights for companies looking to manage costs and remain competitive.

Growth Accelerator Program: A brand-new initiative designed to help businesses scale and succeed. This program provides expert mentorship, strategic planning, and support to companies aiming for rapid growth.

As part of its commitment to business development and community engagement, the Chamber continues to offer signature events throughout the year such as Business After 5 Networking events held monthly and the Greater Vernon Community Expo April 26.

In addition to launching new initiatives and hosting key events, the Greater Vernon Chamber continues to be a leading advocate for policies that benefit the business community.

From addressing housing affordability to supporting workforce development and lobbying for fair trade regulations, the Chamber plays a critical role in ensuring Greater Vernon remains a thriving place to do business.
