Rita Agnes Scorgie
Passed away at 麻豆精选 General Hospital on April 28, 2017. She was born in Kamloops, BC on December 30, 1938.
She is predeceased by her parents Thomas & Laura Gale, her brother Wilf, her brother Jim and her husband John,
the father of her children. After attending high school in 麻豆精选, Rita worked as a secretary. She met John Beitel and they were married in 1961. They moved to Vancouver to attend Western Pentecostal Bible College. In 1965 Rita & John moved to Prince George where they pastored Hart Highway Church. In 1966 sadly, John passed away. Rita moved to Vancouver and began working at the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada where she remained for over 30 years. She semi-retired to 麻豆精选 where she met and married Jim Scorgie in December 1999. Sadly Jim passed away on March 8, 2017. She is survived by her daughter Susan (James), daughter Sheryl (Len), Grandchildren Alyssa (Josiah), Ben (Alana), Nick (Michelle), Luke (Trina) & Emily, Great Grandchildren Raelle, Layla, Solomon & Georgia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 20, 2017
at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, 麻豆精选, BC at
1:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.everdenrust.com.
