It will be the biggest test for the newly crowned champ.
Thrash Wrestling champion (Hillbilly Hound Dog) Drayco has been defending – and beating – all challengers since winning the title last November.
But when Thrash Wrestling returns to Vernon's Schubert Centre Friday, Feb. 7, with Cold Blooded 2025, this is where Drayco will face his biggest threat yet, taking on (Hotshot) Danny Duggan, returning to Thrash from his hometown of Winnipeg in a bid to win back a title he once held seven years ago.
Duggan's reign in late 2018 saw several big defences against the Mid-Western's biggest stars, and even a defence made in the United States.
Also in action on the Vernon card: Collin Cutler battles his long-time rival Davey Deals in a street fight; The Cyborg D'Arcy takes on Badman McCann, and The Thrash Tag Team Champions The Enterprise defend their titles against Sean Gaston and Chase Degenhardt.
Slated to compete in Vernon, as well, are Michael More; B.C. Interior champion Braydon Goss, and The Vixen, Jade.
Doors at the Schubert Centre open at 6 p.m. Bell time is 7 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and are available at Ebenezer's, Saucies 27 Pizzeria, or online at www.ticketseller.ca or $30 at the door.
