Aiden Morcom's big weekend led the 麻豆精选 Chiefs to two wins and a weekly honour.
On Tuesday, Jan. 28, Morcom was named the KIJHL's Top Forward of the week of Jan. 20-26 after scoring two goals and added four assists over two games - a 4-2 win over the Princeton Posse (Friday, Jan. 24) and a 5-4 overtime win against Creston Valley (Saturday, Jan. 25).
The West 麻豆精选 native collected a goal and two assists in each game. His Friday night goal was the eventual game-winner and came shorthanded. He now has a career-high 37 points in 30 points this season.
Morcom and the Chiefs hit the road this weekend to take on the Nelson Leafs on Friday, Jan. 31 and the Castlegar Rebels on Saturday, Feb. 1.
