People in 麻豆精选, and all over B.C., now have the chance to join the same 50/50 raffle as the hockey fans who鈥檒l be at the Vancouver Canucks game on Nov. 27.
An online system will allow fans to join in and win the same jackpot as the fans at the game against the LA Kings. And for this special event, the jackpot is guaranteed to be at least $500,000.

The 50/50 funds, which are expected to surpass $1 million, will go to support the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children鈥檚 Hospice, and the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital Foundation.

Canucks Sports and Entertainment is trying to set the largest North-American 50/50 jackpot record, a record that was previously set on Daniel and Henrik Sedin鈥檚 last game in April which reached $1.01 million.
鈥淲e want to exceed that previous record,鈥� said Alex Oxenham, Executive Director of the Canucks for Kids Fund. 鈥淟ast season鈥檚 prize was a result of an unclaimed 50/50 prize and the heat of the Sedin鈥檚 last game, but it was only available to the fans at the arena, unlike this year where fans across the province can buy tickets from home. This night is special because it鈥檚 on Giving Tuesday. We wanted to give back and acknowledge our fans and the tremendous support that has been shown last season, and this season. It鈥檚 a guaranteed $500,000 that will go towards the three charities that not only help people in Vancouver, but also in 麻豆精选 and the rest of B.C.鈥�
