The 麻豆精选 Skating Club had a successful weekend in Armstrong at the Okanagan Interclub Competition, with 16 local skaters bringing home 15 medals.
A highlight occurred at the Pre-Juvenile level, as 麻豆精选 skaters swept the podium. Leading the charge was Taiya Knight, flanked by Mackenzie Nelmes and Paige Edgar with the silver and bronze medals.
Nelmes added to her medal win with a gold medal in the Star 7/8 Elements event, while Edgar added a bronze in Star 6 Elements.
Eight year-old Gabrielle Jugnauth won a pair of medals of her own. She struck gold in the Star 5 Girls under 13 event, while winning silver in the Star 5 Elements event.
碍别濒辞飞苍补鈥檚 Katie Jones also captured a pair of medals, as she won gold in Creative Improv and silver in Open Elements. As did Ariana Rose, with a silver in Star 4 Elements and bronze in Star 4 Girls under 10.
Konstantina Lock won gold in Star 4 Girls under 10, while BC Champion Emily Sales did likewise in Juvenile Women.
Completing the medal haul were Megan Yudin with a silver in Star 5 Girls under 13, and Aurora Schultz with a silver medal in Star 7/8 Elements.
