Nominations will close this Thursday for the 2016 Community Sport Hero Awards.
Each year, the City of 麻豆精选 and PacificSport Okanagan recognize the outstanding contributions of sport volunteers in the community.
This is your chance to nominate that special volunteer (coach, manager, administrator, official, etc) or athlete achiever whose talent and dedication have caught your eye or helped make your sport experience extraordinary.
Awards will be presented at the 2016 Community Sport Hero Awards reception, on Wednesday, Feb.10.
All City of 麻豆精选-based volunteer and athlete nominees will automatically be considered for the 2016 City of 麻豆精选 Civic and Community Awards in April.
Nomination forms are available at Parkinson Rec Centre, Sport 麻豆精选 Centre or online at www.pacificsportokangan.com.
Along with the recognition of this year's winners, the 2016 Community Sport Hero Awards reception will take some time to recognize and send-off Okanagan athletes headed to Penticton for the 2016 B.C. Winter Games.
Also at the reception, donations can be made in support of the Athlete and Coach Development Fund in the Okanagan.
