Wednesday night just wasn鈥檛 the 麻豆精选 Rockets night.

On the second night of back-to-back games against the Prince George Cougars, the Rockets fell 8-1 on Oct. 4.

The Rockets started the scoring when Logan Peskett scored his first goal of the season just over five minutes into the game but that鈥檚 the only offense the team could muster. Ethan Mittelsteadt and Michael Cicek collected the assists on the goal.

Prince George responded with eight unanswered goals, five of them coming in the second period. They had eight players have multi-point games.

The Cougars fired everything they could on net as they ended the game with 47 shots. Rockets goaltender Jake Pilon made 39 saves in the loss.

麻豆精选 is 1-2-1 on the season through four games, sitting fourth in the B.C. Division and eighth in the Western Conference.

The Rockets now return home and start a five-game homestand. For anyone who needs Thanksgiving plans, the Rockets host the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday night and the Victoria Royals on the Holiday Monday at Prospera Place. Saturday鈥檚 puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. while Monday鈥檚 is an afternoon affair, starting at 12:35 p.m.
