The 麻豆精选 Rockets got some output from their role players Friday night in a big 4-3 comeback victory over the Prince George Cougars.
The Cougars came out strong in the first period out-shooting the Rockets 16-5. Rockets鈥� starter James Porter, who has been great as of late, allowed three goals in the first frame. The slow starting Rockets, would get one on the board in the first when Nolan Foote scored a short-handed goal, his second in two games, and his 27th goal of the season.
Roman Basran came in for the rest of the game and stopped all 15 shots he faced in the remainder of the game. The Rockets defence tightened up in the last two periods which allowed Rockets鈥� rookie Cayde Augustine to net his first goal of his WHL career to bring the Rockets within one at the end of the second period.

Nolan Foote struck again in the third quarter after finishing off a tic-tac-toe play to tie the game 3-3. Rockets鈥� Mark Liwiski scored his sixth goal of the year halfway through the third frame to give the Rockets a 4-3 victory in a crucial game against a divisional opponent.
The Rockets look to continue the late momentum in Friday nights game as they travel to Kamloops Saturday. The Blazers, the Rockets biggest rival, lost Friday night to Vancouver and suffered a tight, heated, and emotional 4-3 overtime loss against 麻豆精选 on Feb. 2.
The Rockets move four points ahead of Kamloops in the B.C division and remain in third place behind Vancouver and Victoria. 麻豆精选 will play Kamloops three more times after Saturday in what will certainly be emotional games heading into the playoffs at the end of March.
