麻豆精选 Rockets
It's been a busy week for the 麻豆精选 Rockets as they've already played two games (both losses against Victoria) but the team returns home on Friday, Feb. 7, looking to end their eight-game losing streak.
The team is 0-7-1 in their last eight games and currently last in the WHL's Western Conference with a record of 16-27-4-1. Unfortunately for them, the challenge doesn't get any easier as the Prince George Cougars come to Prospera Place.
The season series has been close this year, with Prince George leading 3-2. They also come into the game with three wins in their last four games.
Puck drop on Friday night is at 7:05 p.m.
And then Saturday night will be a special one when the Rockets host the Tri-City Americans. It's the annual Nickelodeon Night for Children鈥檚 Miracle Network, in which the Rockets will be wearing specialty Paw Patrol jerseys, which will be auctioned off online with all proceeds going towards BC Children鈥檚 Hospital.
Puck drop is at 6:05 p.m.
West 麻豆精选 Warriors
While in the playoff spot, the West 麻豆精选 Warriors can get back to .500 with two wins against some Okanagan rivals this weekend at Royal LePage Place.
On Friday, the Warriors welcome the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (20-12-6-0) to town while the following night, the Vernon Vipers (11-20-6-0) stop by for a visit.
Saturday night will also be special at the night as it's United Way night. Through United Way's Local Love Fund, more than 40 families and seniors facing financial challenges will be provided tickets and food vouchers for the game. The 50/50 draw will also benefit the United Way.
Going into the weekend, the Warriors are seventh in the BCHL's Interior Conference with a record of 15-17-5-2.
麻豆精选 Chiefs
The 麻豆精选 Chiefs are looking to get back in the win column against one of the KIJHL's best on Friday night.

The next night, the Chiefs return home, welcoming the 23-12-3-1 Merritt Centennials to Rutland Arena. Puck drop is also at 7 p.m.
